Analysis & Composition tuition is available for students of all ages, whether learning for personal interest or preparing for a diploma examination.
Music Analysis is a window into the exciting world of Composition. By studying it one becomes aware of the miriade of options available to composers, the ingenuity of the great masters and why they have been considered as such for centuries.
Students of Analysis & Composition will learn about the musical building blocks used to construct some of the world's favourite musical monuments.
The program explores topics such as phrase structure and form, harmonic language, use of counterpoint and a number of other features.
Students applying for this course should have Grade 8 ABRSM Music Theory (or equivalent), or else undertake an entrance test at DPA.

How do I apply?

How do I pay?
After Registration students can pay their fees directly at the administration office. Cheques and Postal Orders are accepted and should be made payable to Deiana Piano Academy. Fees must be pre-paid and can be paid in full before the commencement of the term, or split in two different payments:
Term I - First payment to be received no later than 15 September 2016 and second payment no later than 1 November 2016;
Term II - First payment to be received no later than 01 February 2017 and second payment no later than 15 March 2017
